Non-Emergency Reporting

Welcome to the Rock Hill Police Department Citizens Online Police Reporting System. If this is an Emergency please call 911. Using this online citizen police report system allows you to submit a report immediately and print a copy of the police report for free.

Only use the online reporting system if:

  • The incident is NOT an emergency
  • The incident occurred within the Rock Hill Police Department City limits

The online reporting system can be used to report incidents such as:

  • Custody Order Violation
  • Harassing Phone Call
  • Identity Theft
  • Lost Property
  • Theft/Larceny
  • Damage To Property/Vandalism
  • Vehicle Burglary
  • Vehicle Tampering
  • Animal Complaint
  • Breach Of Trust
  • Shoplifting
  • Trespassing

Once you start the report, be sure to review the entire list with definitions and examples. Please click on "Select Incident" to begin. If your incident is not listed in the category selection list, please call the Rock Hill Police Department (emergency 911; non-emergency 803-329-7211) to file your report.

Once you submit the report, you will:

  • See the message: "Your online police report has been submitted" showing that your police report is complete
  • Be given a police report case number
  • Be able to print a copy of the police report to keep for your records

If your incident is an emergency, call 911. If non-emergency call 803-329-7200.

What if the incident happened in another city? Can I file a report using this online police citizen reporting system?

No. If a crime took place outside of the Rock Hill Police Department city limits, please call the police department for that city.

What if the incident happened on a state Freeway?

If the incident took place on a state Freeway please call the Highway Patrol Office nearest you.

What is a known suspect?

A known suspect is when you or someone else knows the person or where to find the person who committed the crime or the license plate number of the vehicle the suspect(s) were in.
