Seasonal Leaf Collection Important Tips

• Seasonal leaf collection will begin October 30.  Beginning Friday, February 2, leaf collection will be by request only and will end Friday, March 1.  Any leaf requests after March 1, are subject to a service fee.  Leaves can always be placed in a YardCart for year-round collection.
• Crews will systematically collect leaves making their way through all neighborhoods several times throughout the season, no longer following a two week alternating schedule.
• Leaves can be placed into YardCarts for collection year round. To order a YardCart, please submit an Online Service Request.
• Leaves should be raked along the curb (not bagged) and kept separate from brush piles.
• Keep leaves and brush piles away from obstacles including mailboxes, water meters, and hydrants.
• Do not blow leaves into storm drains or put them in creeks. Penalties with fines up to $1000 will be enforced.
• February collection is by request only. Submit an Online Service Request or call 803-325-2500.
• Blocking traffic lanes or creating line-of-sight hazards for motorists can result in liabilities to the homeowner.
• Submit a service request for pickup of limbs/brush and other bulky items, submit an Online Service Request or call 803-325-2500.
