The City of Rock Hill provides electric service to residential and commercial customers in the greater Rock Hill area.

We are a diamond level Reliable Public Power Provider (RP3) through the American Public Power Association.

Rock Hill Utilities offers an online energy audit to our customers. Energy Advisor performs calculations to determine how much of your energy dollars are spent on running specific appliances, heating and air systems, lighting and more.

In accordance with the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of 1978 as amended by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021 (collectively, “PURPA”) the City of Rock Hill is considering two electric standards.
